Local guide
A railroad settlement that became a 1980s planned community
In the late 1800s Antelope was the main settlement in Center Township, and many railroad workers settled there for good. In 1973 a rail car loaded with bombs exploded in the Roseville Yard and damaged most of the homes in town. The Antelope most people know began as a planned community in the late 1980s, and it got its own postmark in 1994. It had 48,733 people in the 2020 census.
Antelope gets one free county bulky pickup a year. When you need more than that, or items carried out of the house or garage, our crew hauls it, priced by truck space.
| Fact | Detail |
|---|---|
| Population (2020 census) | 48,733 |

Neighborhood by neighborhood
Where we work and what we see
| Area | Typical needs |
|---|---|
| North Antelope, near the Placer County line | Newer family neighborhoods next to Roseville. Good fits: every-two-week cleaning and move-in cleans. |
| Around Antelope Community Park and Tetotom Park | Family streets from the late 1980s and 1990s. Good fits: a deep clean first, then regular service. |
| Antelope Road and Walerga Road | The main roads, with shopping, apartments and townhomes. Good fits: move-out cleaning. |
| Toward Dry Creek and Roseville Road | Established homes with garages and side yards. Good fits: garage clean-outs and junk removal. |
Larger households mean busier kitchens and bathrooms. A crew every two weeks keeps them manageable, and a deep clean once or twice a year covers baseboards, vents and grout.
How junk removal pricing works
Our truck is divided into fractions, and you pay for the space your items take, not by the hour. A single armchair is a minimum load; a sofa or mattress is about a quarter truck; a one-car garage is often three-quarters to a full truck.
| Load | What usually fits | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum load | 1–3 small items | $75–$150 |
| ¼ truck | A sofa, mattress or a few appliances | $150–$250 |
| ½ truck | A small room cleanout | $250–$375 |
| ¾ truck | Garage or storage unit contents | $350–$475 |
| Full truck | Full room, estate cleanout, major debris | $450–$600 |
Local rules
Antelope bulky item pickup vs hiring a junk removal crew
Households in unincorporated Sacramento County get one curbside bulky waste pickup per 12 months, up to 5 cubic yards (8 × 4 × 4 feet), by appointment. Extra pickups and larger piles cost extra. Schedule by calling (916) 875-5555 (weekdays 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m.) or emailing utilities@SacCounty.net, and set items out no more than 24 hours ahead.
Piles set out early or without an appointment are charged a fee.

Free curbside programs are a good deal if you can carry everything to the curb, wait for an appointment and stay under the size limit. Hire us when you need it gone today, when items are inside the home or upstairs, when the load is bigger than the curbside limit, or when you’ve used up your free pickups.
Where your junk goes
We sort every load. Usable furniture and household goods are donated where possible, metals and appliances go to recyclers, mattresses go through California’s mattress recycling program, and only what’s left goes to a licensed transfer station.
Paint, chemicals, motor oil, fuel, batteries and fluorescent bulbs are household hazardous waste. We can’t haul them, but Sacramento County’s North Area Recovery Station (4450 Roseville Road) runs a free household hazardous waste drop-off. Check the county’s current hours before you go.
Clean-out plus clean, in one visit
We’re the Sacramento junk removal company that also cleans. Landlords, realtors and families clearing a home can book the haul-out and a move-out clean together, from $400 for the clean, with one crew and one invoice.

Homeowners, landlords & realtors
Getting a Antelope home ready to rent or sell
Much of our work in Antelope is helping people at the moments a home changes hands: tenants moving out, owners getting a rental ready for the next tenant, sellers preparing for listing photos, and new owners or renters moving in. We clean houses, apartments, condos and offices: empty or furnished.
| Situation | What we do |
|---|---|
| Rental turnover | Haul away anything the last tenant left, then a full move-out clean with inside appliances, cabinets and closets. |
| Getting ready to sell | Clear clutter and old furniture, then a deep clean before photos and showings; windows and carpet on request. |
| Moving in | A move-in clean so kitchens, bathrooms and closets are clean before your things arrive. |
| Moving out | A landlord-ready clean and free re-clean if your landlord documents something we missed. |
One company for the clean-out and the clean means one appointment, one crew and one invoice. Move-out cleaning starts at $400; junk removal at $75.

What to expect
How a junk pickup works, start to finish
- 1You text a photo or book a time. We reply with a price range based on how much truck space the load looks like it needs.
- 2We call or text when the crew is on the way, inside the arrival window you picked.
- 3The crew looks at everything in person and gives a firm price before anything is lifted. If it’s less than the range, you pay less; if you decide not to go ahead, there’s no charge.
- 4We carry everything out (from bedrooms, upstairs, the garage, the backyard or a storage unit) and protect doorways and floors along the way.
- 5We sweep or rake the spot where the items were, then sort the load: donation, recycling, and only what’s left goes to a licensed transfer station.
Most single-item and small-load pickups take under an hour on site. A full garage or a whole-home cleanout usually takes a few hours to a full day, depending on how much sorting you want done on the spot.
