Why Apex Home Point
Leave a landlord-ready home, and get your deposit back
California landlords can only deduct for cleaning needed to return the unit to move-in condition. Our move-out clean targets exactly what inspections check, and if your landlord documents something we missed, we come back and re-clean it free.
Local guide
A Highway 50 city of office parks, older ranch homes and new subdivisions
Rancho Cordova became a city on July 1, 2003, and had 79,332 people in the 2020 census. It runs along U.S. 50 and the American River east of Sacramento, and it’s a real job center, not just a suburb: Vision Service Plan, Franklin Templeton, The Permanente Medical Group and Health Net Federal Services each employ hundreds or more here.
With 43.6% of homes rented, Rancho Cordova move-outs are common. We clean inside the oven, fridge, cabinets and closets, and re-clean free if your landlord documents something we missed.

Neighborhood by neighborhood
Where we work and what we see
| Area | Typical needs |
|---|---|
| Older Rancho Cordova, north of Highway 50 | Ranch-style homes and apartment communities near Folsom Boulevard and Zinfandel Drive. Good fits: deep cleans and move-out cleaning. |
| Anatolia, Sunridge and Stonehouse | Newer family neighborhoods south of the freeway. Good fits: move-in cleans and every-two-week cleaning. |
| Around Sacramento Mather Airport | Newer homes and business sites on the former Mather base. Good fits: move-in cleaning and office cleaning. |
| The Highway 50 office corridor | Office parks and business campuses along the freeway. Good fits: nightly or weekly office cleaning and office furniture removal. |
Rancho Cordova has two very different kinds of housing. Older homes north of 50 usually need a deep clean first; new homes south of 50 need construction dust cleaned out of cabinets, vents and window tracks.

Choose the right clean
Standard vs deep vs move-out cleaning
Most homes only need a standard clean. Book a deep clean if the home hasn’t been professionally cleaned in a few months, and a move-out clean when the home is empty and a landlord or buyer will inspect it.
| Standard clean | Deep clean | Move-out clean | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | Keeping a lived-in home clean | First visit, seasonal reset, before guests | Empty home before handing back the keys |
| Kitchen | Counters, sink, stovetop, appliance fronts, microwave | Plus grease buildup, cabinet fronts, hood | Plus inside oven, fridge, every cabinet and drawer |
| Bathrooms | Cleaned and sanitized | Plus grout, scale and soap scum | Plus inside vanities and medicine cabinets |
| Dusting | Reachable surfaces | Plus baseboards, doors, vents, fans, blinds | Every surface including closets |
| 1 bedroom | $200 | $300 | $400 |
| 3 bedrooms | $290 | $440 | $560 |

- 5Take your own photos of each room after we finish
Know your rights
Getting your deposit back in Rancho Cordova: what California law says
Landlords in Rancho Cordova follow California Civil Code § 1950.5. These rules decide what a landlord can charge you for cleaning:
- Your landlord has 21 days after you move out to return your deposit or send an itemized statement of deductions.
- Deductions are limited to unpaid rent, damage beyond normal wear and tear, and reasonable cleaning costs.
- If more than $125 is deducted, the landlord must provide receipts for labor and materials.
- You can request a pre-move-out inspection during the last two weeks of your tenancy; the landlord then gives you an itemized list of what to fix to avoid deductions.
- Since April 1, 2025, landlords must photograph the unit after you return the keys and before making repairs, and include those photos with any deductions.
- If a landlord keeps a deposit in bad faith, a court can award up to twice the deposit amount on top of the deposit itself.
The standard is “reasonable cleaning”: the unit should be as clean as when you moved in. That’s why our move-out checklist goes inside the oven, fridge, cabinets and closets: those are the most common cleaning deductions.

Homeowners, landlords & realtors
Getting a Rancho Cordova home ready to rent or sell
Much of our work in Rancho Cordova is helping people at the moments a home changes hands: tenants moving out, owners getting a rental ready for the next tenant, sellers preparing for listing photos, and new owners or renters moving in. We clean houses, apartments, condos and offices: empty or furnished.
| Situation | What we do |
|---|---|
| Rental turnover | Haul away anything the last tenant left, then a full move-out clean with inside appliances, cabinets and closets. |
| Getting ready to sell | Clear clutter and old furniture, then a deep clean before photos and showings; windows and carpet on request. |
| Moving in | A move-in clean so kitchens, bathrooms and closets are clean before your things arrive. |
| Moving out | A landlord-ready clean and free re-clean if your landlord documents something we missed. |
One company for the clean-out and the clean means one appointment, one crew and one invoice. Move-out cleaning starts at $400; junk removal at $75.
